Photos and Videos Transfer

1. Use a USB Cable (Fastest for Large Files)
This method is ideal for high-resolution videos or large batches of photos as it does not rely on internet speed.
  • For Android to Windows:
    1. Connect your phone to your PC using a USB data cable.
    2. Unlock your phone and swipe down to see the USB notification. Tap it and select File Transfer or MTP mode.
    3. On your PC, open File Explorer, find your phone under “This PC,” and navigate to Internal Storage > DCIM > Camera to copy your files.
  • For iPhone to Windows:
    1. Connect your iPhone via cable and tap Trust on the phone screen.
    2. Open the Windows Photos app and click Import > From a USB device to select and transfer your media.
  • For iPhone to Mac:
    1. Connect your iPhone and open the Photos app or Image Capture on the Mac.
    2. Select your device in the sidebar and click Import All New Photos or select specific items.
2. Use Cloud Services (Most Convenient)
If you already sync your phone to the cloud, you don’t need a cable.
  • Google Photos (Android/iPhone): Ensure “Backup” is on in the app. On your computer, visit photos.google.com, select your files, and click the three dots (⋮) to Download.
  • iCloud (iPhone): On your computer, log in to icloud.com and click Photos. Select your media and click the Download icon.
  • Microsoft OneDrive: Use the OneDrive app on your phone to upload files, then access the OneDrive folder in File Explorer on your Windows PC.
3. Use Wireless Transfer Apps (Fast for a Few Files)
For quick transfers of a few items without using a cable or cloud storage:
  • Android to Windows: Use Quick Share (formerly Nearby Share). Install the Quick Share for Windows app on your PC to drag and drop files directly from your phone.
  • iPhone to Mac: Use AirDrop. Tap the Share icon on your photo, select AirDrop, and choose your Mac.
  • Phone Link (Android to Windows): Use the pre-installed Phone Link app on Windows to view and save your phone’s most recent photos wirelessly.
How to Upload to Your Website
Once the files are saved on your computer:
  1. Log in to your website profile or dashboard.
  2. Look for an “Upload,” “Add Media,” or “Change Photo” button.
  3. When the file browser pops up, navigate to the folder where you saved your transferred files (typically your Downloads or Pictures folder) and select them to upload.
